Fountain Gate counselors have Master's degrees from accredited graduate schools specializing in Professional Counseling and/or Marriage and Family Therapy. Each counselor holds a full or associate-level license from the State of Georgia, and is a Board-Eligible National Certified Counselor. As licensed professionals our counselors operate under the regulations of the State of Georgia's Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists.

Fountain Gate counselors adhere to the professional and ethical standards of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), and/or the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), as appropriate to each counselor's specialization, and to the Ethics Standards of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS).

Fountain Gate's clinical director works to ensure the quality of our services. The director meets regularly with our therapists to monitor adherence to accepted standards for ethical, legal, and professional practice, and provides oversight for scheduling, staffing, and financial issues as they pertain to client needs.
